Hello! I'm Lacy!

I'm a nature and photography loving mama living in the beautiful PNW. Nothing brings me more joy than hanging out with families, capturing all those sweet moments of connection and creating images that will be treasured for years to come. I also love working with brands to create images that feel authentic and true to their purpose and vision. My approach is focused on connection so that you feel seen and heard. I like to think of us as artists, working together to tell your unique story.

My love for photography has always been rooted in my desire to notice and appreciate beauty.

In high school I took photography classes and continued to take photos for fun throughout my 20s, but it wasn't until my youngest two were born that I truly nurtured my passion for photography. I started out mainly documenting our simple days at home and adventures on San Juan Island.

Eventually I started photographing everything from flowers to pies. I just couldn't put my camera down. I began sharing my photography on Instagram and soon brands began asking me to take photos of their products and local families were aksing me to do family sessions. I've spent years honing my photography skills and my love for photography grows with each photo I take. I can't wait to share my passion with you!

 

A little about me

  • I love Autumn!

    I mean really love autumn. At the end of November, I'm already longing for autumn to come again. The colors, the weather, the baking... I love all of it!

  • I was a total punk rock kid.

    This is probably the number one thing people can't believe about me when I tell them. Colorful hair, spiked bracelets, lip and eyebrow piercing and loud music. I have the pictures to prove it!

  • I love thrift shopping!

    Whenever I have some time to myself, you can usually find me sneaking to our local island thriftshops. My two favorite things to thrift are baskets and old books. I especially love vinatge nature guides!
